My 100 Things

I am an Aquarius.
I never check my horoscope.
My husband is my best “boy” friend.
My best “girl” friend and I have been friends for 32 years.
I think twins are the cat’s pajamas.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
My husband does more housework than me.
I hate housework and cooking.
I can’t stand clutter.
I love anything purple.
I have a deathly fear of spiders.
My “boys” use this to their greatest advantage.
I love big dogs.
I wouldn’t want to feed one though.
I have a medium-sized dog that I treat like another son.
I could eat pizza every day at every meal.
I like all kinds of toppings.
Except anchovies.
I have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
I need to lose 100 pounds.
I love to sleep in but rarely get to do it.
I hate squash and beets.
I can tolerate just about any other food.
I hate needles and eye and knee injuries.
My daughter has had stitches around her eyes twice.
I have cold feet.
The only time my feet were warm was during my summer pregnancy.
I want to be a world traveler.
I have been to all but 8 states.
I have been to 5 Canadian provinces and Mexico.
I am shy.
I don’t like confrontation.
I am a homebody.
I love country and western music….much to my husband’s demise.
I also love 80’s music.
I am a closet Kid Rock fan.
I know all the words to “American Bada**.”
I like to sing it with the volume up loud and the windows down.
My twins were born on my father’s 65^th birthday.
I found out I was pregnant 4 days before my 28^th birthday.
I found out I was having twins 44 days later at my first ultrasound.
I love to watch ice hockey for the fights.
I once took a job as a waitress in a country western bar.
I quit after 1 night.
I believe that appearances are everything.
I know my own appearance is less than ideal.
I know American Sign Language.
I want to learn Gaelic.
I love to tell stories about my children.
I love to do crossword puzzles.
The NY Times Sunday crossword is my nemesis.
I cannot balance my checkbook.
Someday I want to own a Volkswagen Beetle.
A red convertible one.
Or a 1967 Shelby named Eleanor.
That was my aunt’s name.
She died of breast cancer.
I miss her very much.
I love dolphins, butterflies, ladybugs and wolves.
I have never missed an episode of ER.
I love to read anything and everything.
In bed.
I usually fall asleep reading in bed.
With the light on.
I hog the bed and the blankets.
And snore.
I talk in my sleep.
In my sleep, I once told my husband I was a bulldozer.
I haven’t found a hairstyle that I truly like.
I want to be on What Not To Wear.
I love clothes shopping.
I could do it for a living.
I don’t understand politics.
I still vote.
I think a deep voice is sexy.
Trace Adkins has a deep voice.
I snort when I laugh.
I have 2 degrees in education.
I did not enjoy teaching.
I love all kids.
Except for the spoiled ones.
I love grape soda.
I tend to get sidetracked easily.
Wait, what was I saying?
I love to play board games.
No one else in my family likes to play board games.
I can roll my tongue into a “U”.
I can’t wiggle my ears.
I call my mom almost every day.
She lives a mile down the road.
My favorite movie is “The Princess Bride.”
I am not a very philosophical person.
I love to take pictures.
I would love to have my own dark room.
I prefer Pepsi over Coke.
I want to learn to ride a motorcycle.
I love to eat frosting out of the can.
I pluck my gray hairs.
I dye the other ones
I hate journal writing.
